DEA Drug Take Back Program

Posted on October 29, 2019

The Fort Wright Police Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), hosted a Drug Take Back Program this past Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Fort Wright Walmart.

We are pleased to report that we collected over 100 pounds of old and unused drugs that might otherwise have ended up on the streets or in our sanitation and water systems.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who participated, and remind citizens that we have a Drug Disposal Drop Box in the lobby of City Hall, located at 409 Kyles Lane, Fort Wright, KY, that can be used Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm to dispose of unused or unwanted medications all year long.
