Temporary Road Closures and Delays
Work is scheduled to continue on the Fort Henry Drive water main replacement. Rector Excavating is the contractor for the Northern Kentucky Water District who is performing this work.
The water main will be replaced between Pickett Drive and Lookout Court. Temporary road closures may continue to be necessary as construction crosses Fort Henry Drive, so delays will be possible. The main replacement will begin at Lookout Court and proceed to Pickett.
Please avoid this area and find an alternate route unless you live within the project limits. The Northern Kentucky Water District can be contacted at 859-578-9898 if you have any questions or concerns.
Additionally, a portion of Fort Henry Drive from Pickett to the vicinity of 432 Fort Henry will be reconstructed this upcoming construction season by the City in conjunction with Jefferson Contracting. During the reconstruction phase residents who live within this area will have access to and from their property. Detour signs will be posted when appropriate while this portion of the project is being completed. This work is part of the City’s roadway maintenance project for 2023, and is estimated to cost approximately $996,830.00.
